Jonathan Bennett has languished in relative music obscurity since he picked up his first guitar at age 6. In his youth he placed last or nearly last in every talent show he entered. Later, far from winning singer songwriter awards, he has never participated in, nor for that matter, been invited to participate in, events which would gain him notoriety.  As he puts it: “ I feel I owe it to anyone who might be listening to maintain my best kept secret status. I’m hoping whoever listens to my songs hears me and judges accordingly”. And while he has no reviews in any of the music review forums, he did see someone nod once while busking on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder Colorado from whence he hails. While his talent is to date a best kept secret, many of the songs you will hear on this website are supported by some of the most talented musicians in the Boulder-Denver area. Jonathan Bennett has only to offer heartfelt songs which he has spent a lifetime writing, singing and playing. He appreciates you listening and offering your reactions.
